A former baseball player, and current pitching coach, Neal’s love and knowledge of sports personifies his subjects with his unique ability to capture the realism in his illustrations.
Neal has created limited edition lithographs for professional athletes Doug Flutie, soccer legend Walter Zenga, former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe, New England Patriots linebacker Tedi Bruschi, WNBA star Rebecca Lobo, former Boston Red Sox outfielder Dwight Evans, hockey great Ray Bourque and former Brooklyn Dodger pitcher Don Newcombe. His background in caricatures allows him to recreate the personality of his subjects, and his use of felt markers pops colors off the board. This unique medium allows Neal to deliver movement and texture that makes his art so special.
