My name is Mike Ryczek and I am a painter and graphic designer working out of Boston, MA. I graduated from Montserrat College of Art in 2006 w/ a BFA in Illustration and Boston University in 2010 w/ a certification in Web Design. I began this series of small paintings in August 2011 with a desire to strengthen my painting discipline and explore areas of painting outside of my comfort zone. It has proven to be more rewarding than I could have imagined. It has also awoken me from a 5 year art "slumber" to find myself with a growing body of small works that I can learn from. All paintings are in excellent condition and painted on masonite (hardwood) which are backed with a wooden cradle with picture wire attached.
